American Bank has acquired InvestorsBank based in Waukesha

InvestorsBank will operate under  the American Bank name after the acquisition gains regulatory approval, expected later this year.  The combined entity will have assets in excess of $450,000,000, according to a company press release.

InvestorsBank is known for its work with entrepreneurs and small businesses.  American Bank enjoys a reputation for quality community and business banking practices, excellence in customer service, and strength.

Senior management teams at both banks have coordinated a transition plan that preserves each bank's level of customer service, with no expected impact on current employees.

"We plan for things to be business-as-usual for the customers and staff of both banks," said Jim Chatterton, president of American Bank.
